Troubletwisters

When their house mysteriously explodes and they are sent to live with an unknown relative named Grandma X, twelve-year-old twins Jaide and Jack Shield learn that they are troubletwisters, young Wardens just coming into their powers, who must protect humanity from The Evil trying to break into earth's dimension.

The Wardens have devised a plan to get rid of The Evil once and for all, and troubletwister twins Jack and Jaide, and Grandma X, are at the heart of the scheme, but even if it works a lot of innocent people may die or end up abandoned in the dimension of Evil.

When the old man who lives in Rourke Castle dies mysteriously, troubletwister twins Jack and Jaide Shield find themselves drawn into a search for something hidden in the castle, something that The Evil wants desperately, but they have no idea what it is they seek.

Jaide and Jack Shield learn that they're troubletwisters, with powers they must use to stop the Evil from taking over our world. Before, they'd defeated the Evil through luck and intuition. Now though, Jaide and Jack will have to learn how to use their powers, and how to keep on their toes when evil forces return.
