In early September of 2001, April is forced to bring her four-year-old daughter, Franny, with her to work at a strip club after her regular babysitter is hospitalized from a panic attack, but when Franny wanders out of the club and disappears, Bassam, a rich foreign client, and a man named AJ, who was thrown out of the club earlier, both become suspects.
