A close call with fire on Sesame Street compels Elmo and Maria to visit a NYC firehouse. There they learn about the protective garb firefighters wear, practice the "get low and go" escape maneuver, and learn more about what to do in case of fire.
Elmo shows kids the healthy habits of nutrition, water, and exercise by exploring foods from around the world, scuba diving in the sea, and encouraging children to join in the fun by dancing along to the bunny hop.
