This program addresses what teenagers can do to develop healthy self-esteem and is based on building three types of strengths. First, building physical strength and physical fitness to help cope with stress and teasing and to help to build supportive friendships. Second, building mental strength to enable teens to understand and deal with mistakes, "that sinking feeling" and to take risks. Third, building emotional strength to reduce stress through a healthy perspective, balance and time management.
