Mike is so excited when the first-ever talent show is announced at his school. Finally, he'll be able to be on stage, performing magic!.

When Mike, an amateur magician, mentions that he might be related to Harry Houdini, Jackson Jacobs challenges him to prove it.

Surviving fourth grade is little easier now that Mike has found the magic shop. But after missing a special magic show, Mike wants to prove to his parents that he is responsible enough to ride his bike downtown alone.

Mike reluctantly bonds with good-girl neighbor Nora while learning fun skills at The White Rabbit magic shop, the owner of which believes Mike could become a great magician.
