Following the destruction of the Gunslingers at the Battle of Jericho Hill, the last surviving member of their order, Roland Deschain, ascends from the rubble and sets out to learn the mysteries of the Dark Tower. It is here, he hopes, that he can repair all the damage pushing his world out of place.
