Black Star has found a way to harness the power of the Uncanny Sword as Maka and a team of DWMA students disguise themselves as Arachnophobian guards to enter Baba Yaga Castle.

Maka, Kid, and Black Star enter the magnetic field to finish the mission Doctor Stein is unable to complete, locating the demon tool "BREW." The three face off against Mosquito as time runs out, but harmonizing their wavelengths within the magnetic vortex is difficult.

Death the Kid and Black Star chase Free and Eruka to prevent them from using the Black Blood to revive the First Kishin. Meanwhile, Maka risks slipping into madness herself as she tries to reach Crona's troubled soul.

As Shinigami-sama pulls together weapons from around the world to fight the rogue kishin and stop his madness from spreading, the DWMA students try to return their lives to normal, but the task is more difficult for some than others.

Maka must rally her strength to battle Dr. Franken Stein, whose massive soul dwarfs her, even without a weapon.

Tsubaki and Black Star are set to fight Uncanny Sword, Tsubaki's jealous older brother, but in order to defeat him, Tsubaki will have to overcome her docile temperament.

Maka, an aspiring scythemeister, and her transforming partner/weapon, Soul Eater, ask Dr. Stein to give them extra training but may not be prepared for the consequences if they fail.
