Finley Flowers

For their first assignment in fourth grade Finley has to think of an invention that will help the world--but when her Supersonic Sibling Sublimator appears to work too well, and her annoying older brother vanishes, only to reappear laughing at the trick he played, Finley comes up with a new invention she is sure will be a hit.

Every year the fourth grade has to do a plan and complete a service project for the school and community, and after a particularly unappetizing school lunch Finley suggests that they should plant a vegetable garden--but when the radishes she and her friends Henry and Olivia plant take too long to sprout she gets very frustrated.

When Finley decides that fashion is just wearable art, she sets out to create a new fad with her friend Henry: a forklet, a bracelet you can both wear and eat with and only one dollar each for her classmates--unfortunately her parents do not appreciate the disappearing silverware, and Finley has to rethink her invention.

To win the school's cook-off and get a year of free pizza, Finley Flowers and her best friend Henry have to come up with a totally original recipe, the only problem is that neither of them has any idea how to cook, includes two recipes.

Finley and her friends are all heading to overnight camp, and Finley plans to prove to herself and her older brother that she is tough enough to get back to nature--but unfortunately her bunk mate is fussy Olivia.
