Mili Rathod, pledged to her husband at the age of four, leaves India to study in America in order to become the perfect modern wife for him. Bollywood director Samir Rathod comes to America to pressure Mili into a divorce for his older brother, however before he can stop himself, he cooks for her, escorts her to an Indian wedding, and falls for her.
