Chi, a michievous newborn kitten, becomes separated from her family in the park. Scared and lonely, she breaks down in tears and is found by a boy named Yohei and his mother, who take her home with them. The problem is the Yamada family is not allowed to have pets--and Chi has a way of finding trouble.
