Meanwhile, Ava tracks another talisman in the Mississippi, where her blindness gives her an advantage against the horrific Okwa Naholo spirits; and in the Kargjord, Becca, Ling, Neela, and Serafina join the resistance of goblin troops to prepare for war as the Volneros prepare to take over the mer realms.
