This book tells the life story of Aung San Suu Kyi of Burma. Burma is now called the Republic of the Union of Myanmar or just Myanmar. Myanmar is the second largest country in Southeast Asia. Aung San Suu Kyi's story is one of sacrifice beyond the imagination of most. She is known by many in her country as "The Lady". In 2011 a movie titled "The Lady" was made about her. In 1991 she won the Nobel Peace Prize. Included in this book is a timeline of her achievements.
