The unseen guest

After returning from London, the three Incorrigible children and their governess, Miss Penelope Lumley, resume their normal routine while Penelope continues to uncover information about her past. When a noted explorer's prized ostrich gets lost in the woods, the Incorrigibles lead the search to recover it, but Penelope fears that allowing them to return to the wilderness will cause them to revert to their wolf-like behaviors.

The academy's board of trustees asks Penelope to demonstrate the academic progress of her three charges to evaluate her Swanburne education and determine the future of the school. Now Penelope's job with the Incorrigibles is at risk.
