He and the tiger do everything together, but the villagers are frightened of the tiger and begin to distance themselves from Changsheng's family. Changsheng is forced to send the tiger back to the mountains, but the tiger tells him if he ever needs his help, he will return. When robbers attack the village, Changsheng calls for the tiger, who brings his new tiger friends with him, and they scare the robbers away. The villagers realize they were wrong to be scared of the tiger and thank him for rescuing them.

While on a visit to the Forbidden City in Beijing, Ming travels back in time, meets the young emperor, and the two of them fly around the sky on the back of a bronze dragon.
