Little dog, lost / Bauer, Marion Dane

Buddy is a sad little dog who needs a boy and Mark is a sad little boy who needs a dog. When a lonely neighbor, Mr. LaRue, crosses paths with Mark and Buddy during a thunderstorm, he offers his yard for a dog park where he can watch them and have visitors all the time. Describes in verse how Mark and Buddy are finally united together and even have a place to play fetch, thanks to Mr. LaRue.
