A close encounter with a mutant amphibian has a strange effect on Stink, and he transforms into a very frog-like creature, in chapter-book format.

Determined to graduate from the Polliwog swim class and into Dolphin, Stink trains to be able to put his face into the water. During his training, he encounters what appears to be a mutant frog and, soon after, begins exhibiting frog-like behavior -- causing him to worry that he is turning into a frog.

Croak! Squeenk! Ribbet! After a close encounter with a mutant amphibian makes him freaky for frogs, water-shy Stink becomes a swimming success.

Stink is having trouble in his swimming class because he cannot put his face in the water, but all of that is about to change when he has a close encounter with a freaky mutant frog.
