Guardians of Ga'Hoole

The golden age dawning at the Great Ga'Hoole Tree does not unfold as expected, and conditions worsen as the young king hunts for the truth about his ancestry.

After a malignant power is summoned, the six owl kingdoms prepares for war, and while the Guardians of the the Great Ga'Hoole Tree call together an army of gadfeathers, kraals, polar bears, green owls, puffins, seagulls, and dire wolves, another army of free creatures travels to the Hot Gates of Beyond.

Grank raises the royal chick named Hoole deep in the forest in order to protect him; but when an evil warlord attempts to lure Hoole away to kill him, Grank brings Hoole to Beyond the Beyond.

Soren, a barn owl that is captured and taken to a special school for orphaned owls, is befriended by elf owl Gylfie and together the two set out to discover what is really going on at St. Aegolius Academy.

A mysterious blue owl from the Middle Kingdom known as the Striga slowly gains control over Coryn's mind and institutes a harsh new regime that begins to control the learning at the Great Ga'Hoole Tree, where the Band fights to break through to Coryn and force him to acknowledge the Striga's harmful influence.

Soren and Coryn read the ancient legends of Ga'Hoole in order to find a way to prevent the victory of evil in their present world.

Exiled from the Pure Ones, Nyroc flies alone to the great tree, and in order to prove his worthhe flies to The Beyond the Beyond seeking a legendary relic.

Nyroc, son of the evil Kludd and Nyra, is forced to fulfill his dead father's destiny and oppress all of owldom, but when doubt grows in Nyroc's heart he must make an ultimate decision between good and evil.

Soren believes there must be a link between the reappearance of his long-lost sister and the disappearance of his mentor Ezylryb, and when he sets out to find Ezylryb, he stumbles across a truth that could lead to the destruction of the owl kingdom.
