Jig, a pathetic, nearsighted goblin with a skittish fire-spider for a pet--is bullied into standing tunnel watch, but he faces greater dangers when he is kidnapped by a group of adventurers--led by a dwarf warrior, a prince, a wizard, and an elfin thief--who have ordered Jig to lead the party to the Rod of Creation, except Jig has no clue what he is doing.
