Goku continues to battle Freeza to see who is the strongest being in the universe.

With Goku almost dead from a virus, Super Saiyan Vegeta jumps in to lead the battle against world-destroying androids and the ever-present enemy Piccolo.

Boo escapes from his master Bobbidi and begins to rampage the earth; however, Trunks and Goten merge with one another in order to stop Boo before he destroys all the cities and people on the planet.

The future that the time traveler Trunks forecast three years ago is happening. Dr. Gero has unleased his androids to get revenge against Goku for defeating the Red Ribbon Army.

Goku and all of his allies and enemies must unite against Freeza, the strongest being in the universe, who is seeking the Dragon Balls to wish for immortality.

As Freeza changes into new forms, each more powerful that the last, Gohan, Kuriran, Piccolo, and the self-serving Vegeta struggle to stay alive, causing Vegeta to ask Kuriran to mortally wound him so that he will turn into the legendary strongest fighter in the universe--the Super Saiyan.

Gohan, Kuririn, and Bulma struggle to save the Dragon Balls from both Vegeta and the planet-destroying Emperor Freeza.

Goku must rescue his friends on the planet Namek, where a war rages between the Emperor Freeza, who plots to become immortal by using Namek's Dragon Balls, and Vegeta, the Saiyan prince who has betrayed his former master in his own quest for immortality.

Vegeta retreats from Earth, vowing revenge on Goku. Kuririn, Gohan, and Bulma, searching for a way to revive their dead friends, travel to Namek, Piccolo's home planet where the Dragon Balls were originally made, but, once there, find themselves stranded on a planet full of enemies.
