Arianwyn is now a fully qualified witch, but what with the war against the Urisians in the northern kingdom of Veersland, the increasing magical activity across the Four Kingdoms, and the Hex driving supernatural creatures out of the Great Wood, the demand for skilled witches still exceeds the supply, and Arianwyn is not really sure that she is up to the dangerous secret mission that the High Elder has assigned to her alone.
