Mysterious Makers of Shaker Street

While dumpster diving the Makers (Michael, his cousin Liv, and their friend and computer whiz Leo) encounter a very unfriendly Mr. Patterson, the owner of Patsy's Arts and Crafts, and that sets them on the trail of a mystery--just what are Patterson and his mother, who is leaving her job at the museum, up to, and how can the Makers stop them?.

When their friend Tina Maria Carlos tells them her family is moving away because their house is haunted, the Makers (Michael, his cousin Liv, and their friend Leo) set out to investigate--Liv believes the ghost is real and wants to prove it, but Michael is convinced that someone is creating a clever illustion, and he wants to know how and why.

Ten-year-old Michael Wilson, his best friend Leo Hammer, and his cousin, Liv Hernandez have their own little club which they call the Makers of Shaker Street with a "club house" where they tinker with making gadgets, and their task for today is to figure out where the strange noise Michael has been hearing is coming from, and what is causing it--a job that proves to be more dangerous then they had expected.

Overnight mysterious holes appear in the yards of Shaker Street and the Makers (Michael, his cousin Liv, and their friend Leo) set out to solve the mystery--Liv is sure it is Martians, but Michael suspects the woman with a shovel that he saw last night with his homemade telescope.
