Peace is short lived for the New Republic when Leia must face down the ruthless leader of the Duskhan League, an arrogant Yevetha who seems bent on a genocidal war, while Luke travels to his mother's homeworld to find his relatives, and Lando seizes a mysterious spacecraft with weapons of destructive power on an unknown mission.
Han Solo is taken hostage by the Yevetha, the deadly new enemy that is challenging the peace of the New Republic, and Chewbacca, Leia, and Luke set out on their separate paths to win Han's freedom and elminate the Yevetha threat.
The New Republic's triumph is faced with a new threat that Leia must deal with, while Lando becomes a prisoner aboard a runaway spacecraft, and Luke continues his quest to learn more about his mother, then while Han tries to help Leia against the Yevethan he faces a fleet of warships under the command of a ruthless leader.
