Formed to investigate why their power rings were stolen, the New Guardians are shaken to learn who the actual masterminds were. Meanwhile, Kyle Rayner, expelled from the Green Lantern Corps, is caught up in the power struggle between Orange Lantern Larfleeze and the archangel Invictus.

When Kyle Rayner, Green Lantern of Earth, receives six stolen power rings, one from each of the other Lantern corps, he does not know that the other Lantern Corps will do anything to separate him from his new acquisitions, because one individual wielding all that power is too much to imagine.
