Kikuhara faces his past, which forces Anzai to make a decision. Meanwhile, Queen's plot is exposed, and the concern over the presence of devils in society erupts in tragedy.

Thanks to a newly uncovered memory, Anzai testifies on Kikuhara. Jill looks for direction after the dissolution of F Squad. Lee has gained a bit of a reputation, but now shadowy figures are out to get him. And deep in the Gunma Prefecture, Makimura opens his eyes.

Anzai wakes up in the devil treatment floor of the hospital where he recovers a lost memory. The MPD have split up Anzai and Tsukasa after the incident on the roof, and Tsukasa returns to school where she makes a discovery.

Anzai gets caught in the crossfire of the F Squad's pursuit of the CCC, leaving Tsukasa with a life-or-death decision to make.

Ishimaru makes a deal with Zero Seven to provide information on the devil that killed Zero Seven's mother in exchange for information on the CCC. The truth behind the meeting between Seven and Kikuhara is uncovered. An activist's house is set on fire and Kikuhara encourages Anzai to remember his past.

Anzai has breached the stand-down order, and now must face the consequences imposed by the F Squad's new leader, Ishimaru. And Ishimaru reveals a shocking way to handle the rebellious Zero Seven and Nine.

Queen removes the GPS bullet from Lee's leg who will in turn become the new face of Queen's devil advocacy group. Meanwhile, Eka kills Prime Minister Morimune that sets of a series of devastating attacks on public officials everywhere. Also, the origin of Queen and Eko's relationship is revealed and how the two plan on terrorizing society.

Anzai and Tsukasa take their relationship to the next level and at the same time test the limits of Anzai's self-control when it comes to his demon half. Meanwhile, Kaname Shirase in Tokyo is making offers to both Lee and Tsukasa, Nana must confront her past while getting back together with ex-CCC members, and Ishimaru looks into the Queen and her past with ReMI devils.

Anzai travels to Obihiro to lean more about his role in Hybrid plan, and why Midori chose Tamaki as a partner. Tsukasa is already there and Anzai learn their "no contact" order has been rescinded. Then Anzai begins to understand his obsession with the devils.
