Due to Ainz's kindness, Sebas is able to maintain his loyalty to his master and stay by Tsuare's side, but he wonders if he will be able to keep Tsuare safe from dangers in the game.

Unglaus and Climb witness a fight involving an old man who turns out to be Sebas. Their journeys converge as Unglaus looks to discover the reason he fights, Climb trains to become stronger, and Sebas wants to find a way to keep safe a girl he has sworn to protect.

The evil designs of the Eight Fingers moves forward while Sebas' actions deviate further from his orders when he finds a distraught woman behind a brothel--his conflicting feelings of justice and duty are put to the test, and the disciplined butler will have to chose between loyalty to Ainz and helping a mere human.

Ainz brings the lizardman conflict to a bloody, decisive end by turning his efforts against the humans once more. Standing in his way is a fiercely loyal young man tasked with protecting the princess of the Re-Estize Kingdom. He carries a secret torch of love for her, too, for she is beautiful, kind, and intelligent, and the steadfast youth will stop at nothing to protect her.

Ainz faces an army of the undead, and also the alluring assassin, Clementine, hoping another victory will raise his notoriety to new heights and allow him to find out more about his new mysterious world.

Ainz disguises himself and embarks on a mission to learn more about his new world. He finds allies and enemies in a quest to protect his land from sinister forces.

After the battle, the overlord sits on his throne handing out punishments. Cocytus has come to respect the brave tribal warriors and tries to come up with a plan to save them from extinction. Dimiurge suggests to the overlord that they return to the Lizardmen and use them as a case study to see if governing them without fear will make them loyal to him.

As the battle with the Great One grows nearer, Zaryusu tries to gather the lizardmen tribes to fight. The Red Eyes agree to an alliance, but the Dragon Tusks will be trickier: Zaryusu will have to defeat their chief in combat before they will listen to him.

Ainz and Shalltear are in the fight of their lives, and only one will come out of it alive. And while Ainz squares off with the vampire lord, evil forces are on the move in a far-off reptilian kingdom.

Shalltear is on the hunt, and bloodlust is in the air, but she might not like it when Blood Frenzy activates and no one, undead or alive, seems able to end her reign of terror.
