In the year 2026, a young man by the name of Kazuto Kirigaya beat Sword Art Online, a VRMMORPG that had become a death trap for its players. He would go on to participate in experimental tests of an entirely new full-dive maching. Meanwhile in 2047, a boy named Haruyuki accelerates himself in order to finish his homework just before class.
Haruyuki and the reformed Takumu begin to fight with the reestablished Black Legion, Nega Nebulus, but when Haruyuki gets enough points to level up, he makes a grave error and finds himself on the verge of being out of the game.
When Kuroyukihime returns from her school trip, she finds that Nega Nebulus has had quite the harrowing adventure in her absence, having been taken very much to task by a new threat--Dusk Taker.
o negate the threat of Cyan Pile, Haruyuki, now the Burst linker Silver Crow, stands up to fight as Kuroyukihime's knight, but suspicions regarding Cyan Pile's true identity put Haruyuki at odds with his princess.
