Two years after being expelled from high school Russ Vale is trying to get his life together by making his own short movie with the slightly unhinged star of a hit teen soap opera, but when he receives a message on his cell phone from his future self, Russ jumps at the chance to go back in time in order fix things, but he sparks dangerous glitches he can't control, including alternate versions of himself.

The lives of three women, rebellious fifteen-year-old Lucia Moberg, pregnant teen Tanya Yasbeck, and homicide detective Greta Hurd, hurtle toward a violent confrontation after Lucia's father, Oscar, a professor at the State University of New York, is gunned down by a carjacker in the parking lot of a local mall.

Jodie Larkin flees Atlanta and her housecleaning job with stolen money to look for the son she put up for adoption; and meanwhile, Wynn Johnston, a college student, is hunted by drug dealers and a police officer on the trail the shooter in a double murder case.
