A young girl named Camila enters a video contest in the hopes of winning and getting on TV. To win, she has to explain why her home city, Los Angeles, is her favorite place and what it means to her.

Camila and her papa? enter a televised baking competition, but trying to do everything herself results in a mess so Papa? helps to bake strawberry-iced cake pops that could make them stars.

Camila tries out for a play and is disappointed not to get the leading role. However, she works hard with the cast and learns that she can still be a star.
