Frodo Baggins and his friend Sam journey alone down the River Anduin but are followed by a mysterious creeping figure as they continue on to Mordor to destroy the Ruling Ring. Meanwhile, their allies launch assults on Isengard, Helm's Deep, and the corrupt wizard Saruman.
