2014
"Tells the story of how Detroit answered the call to arms during WWII, centering on Henry Ford and his tortured son Edsel, who, when asked if they could deliver 50,000 airplanes, made an outrageous claim: Ford Motor Company would erect a plant that could yield a bomber an hour"--OCLC.

A Cup of tears

a diary of the Warsaw Ghetto
1988
On November 16, 1940, the Nazis sealed off a large section of central Warsaw and created the Jewish Ghetto for Polish Jews. Over 400,000 people were sealed off from the outside world and forced to live under terrible conditions which included a severe shortage of food. Among them was a 47-year-old Jewish teacher who kept a record of events. Part of Abraham Lewin's diary, covering the period from April 1942 to January 1943, was found hidden in a milk churn after the war and published. This book is that partial diary.
