Agnes has found Isaac, but he's been poisoned. The only cure is the spray of a fire salamander, which is loyal to the boomslang. Whispers have been floating through Paragon of animals standing up to the deadly snake. Can Agnes lead a revolution, confront the boomslang, and save her friend? Will she and Isaac make it home to the real world?.

A week has passed since Agnes crawled through a portal in a diner's freezer into another dimension and was briefly turned into a meerkat. Her friend Issac doesn't believe her, so they venture back to Crispy Biscuit. In Paragon, Agnes transforms into a vervet monkey and Isaac is an African gray parrot. But the duo's fun is interrupted by a stinky creature's cries. Can they avoid the boomslang, or will they get tangled up in helping the creature back to its burrow?.

Agnes would love to escape her . . . school day, including arguing with Isaac over returning to Paragon. She worries about them getting hurt, but after a suprising soccer game, she is ready to explore the world. There, the duo transforms into a Nile monitor and clawless otter. They meet a pair of frogs, who urge them to enjoy a swim. But as a storm rolls in, Agnes and Isaac learn of the boomslang's presence. Will they escape from the snake and get back to the real world?.
