Isla Verde doesn't believe in fairy tales, but while on a trip to the Verde family cabana, Isla's new friend, Tora, thinks she sees a mermaid. The girls set off on an adventure with the help of the island animals to find out if mermaids really exist.

While on vacation at her family cabana, eight-year-old Isla Verde along with best friend Tora and gecko Fitz, search for the mysterious Canto Coast namesake--a mermaid.
