Mark Leit, an elite psy-comm in a future world controlled by massive corporations known as "corp-states," walks away from his prosperous life and goes on the run, but he soon finds himself pursued by his ex-partner David Jerold, a warrior whose loyalty will not permit him to allow Mark his freedom.
