Runaway storm

Teenager Nate, upset over the divorce of his parents and his father's decision not to take him on a kayaking trip, decides to go on his own, paddling off the coast of Vancouver and finding himself involved with a group of foster kids who have serious family problems, a murderous drug smuggler, and a Goth girl from Seattle.
