After moving to San Diego and her fifth foster home since kindergarten, Sheridan Alexander has two goals, to graduate and exit the system without any more trouble until she finds the abandoned journal of Ribbon Barber in her locker and she knows she has to find Ribbon and protect her from the endless insults and abuse that has been flung at the innocent girl.
