Tory Brennan and her friends team up to save the Loggerhead Island Research Institute when it runs out of funding and make tracks for Charleston, where the treasure of the she-pirate, Anne Bonney, was lost but never found, but Tory and her friends are not the only ones searching for the treasure and their special powers might not be enough to keep them out of trouble this time around.
