The inferno collection

Kim Reynolds, an academic reference librarian with clairvoyant ability, is approached by a nervous friend who inquires about an inferno collection--materials deemed salacious or inappropriate for children--and when the young woman is found dead, Kim feels obligated to investigate, putting her own life in danger.
