April in Paris

Roth, a young German soldier who can speak impeccable, accent-free French, finds his work translating the confessions of prisoners at Gestapo headquarters in Paris disagreeable, though certainly better than being at the front, but he comes to realize the importance of taking a stand when he falls in love with Chantal, a French resistance fighter.
