Armor of God

Tobias Garland, a scholar during the First Crusade and the first Keeper of the Sign, has terrifying premonitions; and Father Michael Flannery, a twentieth-century Keeper of the Sign, senses Tobias' warnings and escapes an assassination attempt, ordered by Via Dei, while en route to New York for a large religious symposium.
