Small wars

Major Hal Treherne of the British Army is transferred to the colony of Cyprus in 1956 and brings his supportive wife, Clara, and young daughters with him, but years of skirmishes against the Cypriots lead Hal to question his ability to face moral battles, and his growing distance from his wife causes strain on their marriage and family.
