Her daughter's dream

Carolyn had formed a stronger bond with her grandmother than with her mother, Hildie, and after a family tragedy, Carolyn cuts all ties and joins the counterculture of San Francisco in the 1960s. She reluctantly returns home to try and rebuild her life and help raise her own daughter, May Flower Dawn but, ironically, Dawn forms a stronger bond with her grandmother Hildie than with Carolyn. It causes another family rift and Dawn vows to mend the bridge between grandmother, mother, and herself. Includes a short biography of the author, black-and-white photos, and a discussion guide.
