Former marshal Jim Raynor, having lost faith in humanity after Emperor Arcturus Mengsk's betrayal of telepath Sarah Kerrigan, cannot stop having visions of a volcanic world inhabited by horrifying aliens and begins to think they might be Sarah trying to communicate with him so he can rescue her.
