Quicksilver

Daniel Waterhouse is summoned to Europe in 1713 in hopes he can calm the dispute between Isaac Newton and scientist/philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, who have independently invented calculus, while adventurer Jack Shaftoe becomes involved with Eliza, an escapee from a Turkish harem on a mission of revenge.
