Religious investigator Justin March and supersoldier Mae Koskinen, investigating reports of the supernatural and the return of the gods, are assigned to follow a diplomatic delegation into Arcadia, a dangerous territory outside of the Republic of United North America (RUNA), and, as Justin confronts powerful forces and his own deity, Mae secretly searches for her niece.
