Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan is called to Charlotte, North Carolina to help with the investigation of kidnapped and murdered children from Vermont and North Carolina that bear a striking resemblance to murders in Canada several years ago by Anique Pomerleau who was able to elude capture at that time.
