Chronal engine

Eighth-grader Max, his older brother Kyle, and twin sister Emma are sent to live with their reclusive grandfather on his Texas ranch and discover their grandfather's stories about the Chronal engine in the basement are true when Emma is kidnapped--just as predicted--and the boys, along with their new friend Petra, must travel back in time to the Cretaceous period to rescue Emma.
