Jack Madigan, son of a legendary rock star who was killed by a snapping turtle, lives quite happily off his dad's royalties, along with his teenage son Harlan, in a crumbling Boston town house, but when the money begins to run out, Jack, an agoraphobe, must somehow find a way--and the will--to enter the world again.
