Mean streak

After his wife, Dr. Emory Charbonneau, disappears on a North Carolina mountain road, Jeff is accused of murder. However, Emory is alive, but not well--waking from unconsciousness, she finds herself captive to a man whose dark past keeps him from telling her his name. As her captivity goes on, however, Emory wonders if this man is not actually her savior, and that the real threat is still out there coming for her.
