Seventeen-year-old Nels always wanted to be a knight in the kingdom of Cobblestown, but he was murdered. Now a ghost, Nels approaches the kingdom's heir, Princess Tyra, the only person who can see him, for help. The two quickly discover they are linked by a common secret and enemy. They embark on a magical quest to find an ancient needle that can mend what is broken before Nels becomes unwoven and disappears forever.
