School for sidekicks

Evan Quick is a superhero geek in a world where superheroes are real. He longs to wake up one day with superpowers, but everyday the same thing happens--nothing. Then one day on a class field trip, Evan manages to survive a supervillain death ray, and is taken to the Academy for Metahuman Operatives to become a real hero--or so he thought. It turns out the Academy is more for Sidekicks than the real heroes, but it is not without its dangerous secrets.
